Kimberly-Clark Response to the War in Ukraine
Mar 9, 2022

First and foremost, Kimberly-Clark is deeply saddened by the war in Ukraine and our hearts go out to our colleagues in the country, some of whom are among those displaced by the war. At this time, our overriding focus is to continue doing everything possible to support their safety and well-being.

We are donating $1 million in financial aid and health and hygiene products to support active humanitarian efforts both in Ukraine and in neighboring countries to support refugee relief efforts. This includes a donation of $500,000 from the Kimberly-Clark Foundation to the Red Cross, as well as $500,000 in in-kind donations of essential products, including Huggies, Kotex, Kleenex, Depend and K-C Professional. In addition, we have established a global employee giving program through the International Federation of the Red Cross and donations will be matched by the Kimberly-Clark Foundation.

In Russia, we have implemented significant adjustments to our business. In addition to suspending all media, advertising and promotional activity, we have taken steps to suspend capital investments in our Stupino, Russia facility. Importantly, consistent with the humanitarian nature of our products, we are focused on producing essential items, specifically baby diapers and feminine pads, which are critical to the health and hygiene of women, girls and babies.

Given rapidly changing conditions, we will keep our operations under review.

We stand firmly with the people of Ukraine and the international community in calling for a peaceful resolution to this war.
